EA and Dr. Pepper Partner Up To Give You Free Stuff

in Free Sims 3 Downloads

I don’t know if you frequent Taco Bell, but the new promotion they’re running right now just make you feel like grabbing a cheap burrito. We just got done with a shopping trip and since it was getting mighty close to dinner time, we decided to hit up the Taco Bell drive-thru.

I don’t remember what I ordered but it was a “meal” and came with a drink. Once we got our stuff, I grabbed my cup to take a drink and noticed EA’s logo on the cup.

Now, here’s the cool part, on the cup was a code for free exclusive in-game content. How cool is that? Finally something I can actually use instead of a code to enter some stupid contest I’m never going to win.

These are the games with content you can get by redeeming your code:

  • Spore
  • Sims3
  • Mass Effect 2
  • Battlefield Heroes
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Head over to the Taco Bell site setup just for this EA promo to redeem your code. Quick note: this promo also is also running for Dr. Pepper so if you drink Dr. Pepper – which I don’t – you can find promo codes there as well.

The whole deal looks fairly straightforward but for me, it wasn’t. Since I didn’t have an existing account with them, I created one. What I didn’t know is you’re supposed to enter in your EA login info. Oops. So, I entered in my code but didn’t get the kick-ass boots I wanted.

So you guys don’t end up with the same thing happening to you, here’s the video they posted with The Sims 3 specific instructions. When a video tut is required so you can redeem your code, that should be a hint it’s too damn complicated.

Well it’s been going on for a while now, and it really has nothing to do with Taco Bell. When you click to go to the promotion it just brings you to the Dr Pepper site. I had all the promo items like last month…

Yeah, thanks for that. I realized it was Dr. Pepper as I was writing that but didn’t feel like going back and rewriting the entire thing.
