Sims 3: Ambitions Fact Sheet Released

in Sims 3 Expansions

EA released a new fact sheet yesterday that gives a bit more insight into the newest Sims 3 expansion: Ambitions.

You know how EA is about its information on upcoming games – they like to spoon feed the information to you over the months leading up to the release. Just keep that in mind since there is some new information…but not a lot.

One of the most exciting revelations is the news you will now control what your Sims do and who they interact with while they are at work.

No more clicking “Work Hard” or “Meet Coworkers”. Now you’ll actually go to work with your Sims and you’ll play them much like you do on your home lot or while they’re at the park.

Another interesting tidbit is what your Sim does on the job impacts the community.

Examples from the fact sheet were architects can modify town structures and stylists can influence the town’s fashions.

Of course with the new careers – firefighter, private investigator, doctor, ghost hunter [“and more”!!!] – will come new activities and interactions but EA hasn’t outlined what those will be. I’d expect more information on that in the coming months.

And like with all Sims 3 expansions, when you register your game, you’ll unlock bonus content.

That’s the news that I have at the moment in Sims 3 Gamer land.

I will say I’m a bit more excited about the expansion than I was and I’m curious if this new information influences your feelings about Ambitions.

Are you more interested now or are you feeling blah about the expansion?
